1. Potali massage : Many people are aware of the potali massages in ayurveda but what they don't know is there are many types of potali massages that can be done according to different disease condition of the body. There are patra potali massages (done by a bolus made of suitable medicated leave), shashtika shali sweda ( here potali is made of nyavara type of rice), jambeera pinda sweda (potalis are filled with lemon fried in medicated oil) , choorna pinda sweda ( potalis are filled with medicted powers), Valuka sweda ( potalis are filled with clear sand in conditions where excessive rukshana is required) and many more varieties in potalis itself. 2. Udwartana - This is a form of powder massage where the body is rubbed in a Systemic manner for many kaphaja disorders.
3. Pizhichil - This is a kind of kayaseka where the medicated oil is poured from a comfortable height in a specific way to provide a relaxing experience to the body. Kayaseka can also be done by many other medicated liquids according to the condition of the body.
